Felt very unprepared for a cruise ship. Beautiful town but didn’t feel like there was a focus on the tourism there.

We enjoyed just tour o the city with a great gal who was super entertaining and knowledgeable. She made sure we saw the Reversing Falls at full boil and then later in the tour at full calm.

Were were here an extra day. We did an excursion to the reversing rapids and the beach caves. It was excellent. On the second , and unplanned , day we walked the town and visited the Jewish Museum. Quaint town. Eat losbters at Steamers.

We took 2 cab rides (negotiated to $25) to the Reversing Falls, once near high tide and once near low tide. You don't get the effect unless you see both!

The nicest locals on the whole trip. We did an excursion to the back roads winery. It was truly backroads. Even had to do a ferry. The weather was overcast rainy and foggy but that can happen any day on this cruise. We only had one day - which was great. The guide searched hard and found us a tree that was changing colors - - It was small group tour off ship - Cruisesonly.
