Review summary

I would definitely cruise on this ship again, but without great expectations for the food. Also, would not use the spa services. It was the worst massage ever!

Embarkation was amazingly quick and easy

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The food was very disappointing. The choices and quality in the main dining room were quite poor. The pizza in Alfredo’s was delicious, though. The service in all restaurants was great. We really enjoyed sitting in Spirits At Sea - it was fun watching the bartender make such fun drinks, and also watching the activities in the Piazza.

Onboard Activities

Lotus Spa

1 out of 5

I visited the spa twice - once for reflexology and once for a couple massage. It was the absolute worst massage I have ever had. The massage therapist obviously did not know what she was doing. I couldn’t wait for it to be over. My husband said the same thing. Do not waste your money! The reflexology was better than the massage, but still not worth it. The gratuity is automatically added! Beware.

Entertainment

Entertainment options lacked.

Children's Programs

No children

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The staff onboard this ship was exceptional. Always friendly, attentive and available.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship is beautiful, well maintained and very clean. This was one of my favorite ships! It is easy to navigate, has plenty of amenities and is perfect for adults with or without children. Although we only saw one child on our cruise, the children’s areas looked well equipped.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We loved our stateroom. It was very spacious, loved having the separate water closet, and it was immaculate. The balconies are a little narrow, but big enough to enjoy. The downside: I don’t think we will ever be able to cruise in anything other than a suite now. 😊. Our cabin steward was the best we have had, and this was our 13th cruise.

Ship tip

Don’t expect the best food, but do expect the best service. Explore all the ship has to offer!

Ports of call

New York, New York

5 out of 5
We stayed in Times Square and explored the city for 3 days. Can’t wait to go back!

Newport, Rhode Island

5 out of 5
Loved Newport! We did a private tour and it was fabulous. So much to see in such a small area.

Boston, Massachusetts

3 out of 5
A little disappointed in Boston. This was the port I was most looking forward to, but it was so crowded! Difficult to navigate, and with the huge crowds, we were unable to really see the things we had hoped to.

Bar Harbor, Maine

5 out of 5
Absolutely loved Bar Harbor and can’t wait to go back. There is so much to explore. Acadia National Park is beautiful.

Saint John, New Brunswick

5 out of 5
Great port. Did not do a lot here, though. Must do - have a beaver tail pastry!

Halifax, Nova Scotia

5 out of 5
We walked to the Citadel and it was well worth the walk! Be prepared- it is a long, uphill walk.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Quick and easy
