We stayed in town, walking along the waterfront to the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic. The displays on the Explosion of 1917 and the sinking of the Titanic were outstanding. Lunch at the The Bicycle Thief Restaurant is not to be missed. Both the museum and the restaurant are an easy walk from the cruise port.

Just get excursion to Peggy's Cove early then just come back to harbor. Lots to see and do within walking distance of the ship. We did Peggy's cove in am the the hop on /off Would've liked more time at the Cove. However on hop off /on we got off at stop 6 and found Willman's Resturant fantastic chowder and fish and chips with local flair!

We went here and did the Hop on tour, then went to Farmers market and boadwalk. Hop on was something to do, when you know nothing about the city. Farmers market was ok, not much in it. Boadwalk was ok, didn't see much but something to do.

Peggie's Cove is a must see. Included was a visit to the cemetery where 150 victims of the Titanic tragedy are buried. Booked by RC and well worth it.
