Review summary

Regarding handicap access, ship was accommodating. However, the excursions were very taxing. At Bar Harbour, walked the plank to lobster boat. Plank swayed over water, no railings. I was petrified. Halifax bus very high steps. My friends had to pull/push me on and off. We were a party of three couples and had a very good time. It’s a shame I couldn’t experience it able-bodied. Next time!

Onboard Activities

Especially enjoyed solarium. Relaxing, good view, comfortable. With broken shoulder, not able to try others.

Entertainment

Loved Las Vegas Tenors. Variety of music, very funny. Ice show - didn’t get theme, or like music. Female lead fell twice. RC singers off key, dancers good. Two comedians - one so so, one excellent. He did a bit about colonoscopy that had me falling out of my chair.

Service and Staff

Friendly and polite, excellent service. Exception, gentleman at excursion desk didn’t want to help me, it was time for him to work elsewhere. My husband and I hadn’t received that days excursion tickets so we were worried. His manager asked him to stay and help us. The first man had been rude.

Ship Quality

Very clean, no worries. Signage fir bathrooms could be improved. Can’t tell you how many times we walked around the elevators, knowing the restrooms were there but couldn’t spot.

Cabin / Stateroom

Ship tip

Carefully select your cabin. Our priority was proximity to elevator and Promenade for quick coffee/snacks. Be prepared to wait for elevator, two by us we’re out of order.

Went on two excursions. Loved the tours. HOWEVER, one involved a very long walk from ship, we ended asking for assistance. Were provided with wheelchairs and were told they would be avail for return. They were not! A concerned security officer gave us a ride on his cart part way.
