Review summary

1) Although I was skeptical, Newark/Bayonne was very easy to transit through to the ship. 2) We had rotten weather. The week before temperatures were in the 80s. The week after, in the 70s. Our week they struggled to get into the 50s. We knew going in the weather would be a crap shoot. We shot craps. My recommendation to anyone doing this itinerary in early June is pack for cold and take warm as an exception.

We ate lunch at The Route 66 Cafe. The lobster is to die for. Forget eating on the waterfront, go here!

We went on a non-Royal excursion to the fishing village of St. Martins on the Bay of Fundy. We ate lunch at The Caves Restaurant. It was EXCELLENT!

We stayed in town, walking along the waterfront to the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic. The displays on the Explosion of 1917 and the sinking of the Titanic were outstanding. Lunch at the The Bicycle Thief Restaurant is not to be missed. Both the museum and the restaurant are an easy walk from the cruise port.
