We did a Hippopota-bus tour which was educational. The tour guide was friendly and even sang a song for us. (There were only 4 of us on the bus). We had steamers and steamed mussels at a portside restaurant which were good.

The town was really quaint, but not tiny. Great to spend an afternoon there. We went to The Pilot House restaurant in PEI and had the best mussels we've ever tasted. Huge portion for a reasonable price. Also snacked on poffertjes at the only cafe in town serving them. Small dutch style pancakes served with melted butter and powdered sugar. So good. The Cafe is on a street with lots of outdoor restaurants. Some great churches and architecture. We didn't go outside the main town area.
