We passed Bar Harbor and went to St John first. Then we went back to Bar Harbor but because we had to go through customs for the US because we left the county and went to Canada first it took a very long confussing time to get threw customs. We had very little time in Bar Harbor after getting through customs. We decided not to take a tour and just walked aroung the little town area. Lots of shops for souvenirs. Had a piece of blueberry pie and small scoup of ice cream at a little place on main road. it was the best. Would have liked a longer time here and get a chance to go to the National Park.

Bar Harbor is a beautiful port. Would have like more time to explore. There was another cruise ship in port so it was very busy. The folks working in Bar Harbor are wonderful and very happy when the ships are in port.

Probably our favorite. Acadia is worth the drive. Other cruisers say if you're short on funds, the town has a series of free shuttle buses (un-narrated) you can take to see the town and surrounding area, although we took an NCL excursion to the top of Cadillac Mountain inside the Park where the views just take your breath away.

We did the Acadia National Park and Cadillac Mountain excursion. Very interesting and enjoyable and beautiful. Lunch was lobster rolls, chowder, and local blueberry pie. Quite tasty!

Expensive tourist trap. Acadia National Park was OK, but over rated.

Beautiful. Took a bus to Acadia National Park. If you I this, be sure to sit in the same side of the bus as the driver. That was where most of the views were.

We loved Bar Harbor. We explored on our own. We took advantage of the free shuttle that runs to Acadia to hike and explore that area. Plan ahead to figure out the best hike and allow time to catch the shuttle back to town. We did the hike near the beach which was about a 2 mile hike and had plenty of time to get back to town and explore and have a nice lunch at Galyns. Excellent Lobster and Blueberry Beer! Highly recommend! Would love to go back and hike more in Acadia!
