Absolutely loved Bar Harbor and can’t wait to go back. There is so much to explore. Acadia National Park is beautiful.

Bought tickets for Acadia ahead of time, right choice for us. Took Island Explorer bus (free) to Sand Beach, beautiful hike to Otter Cliffs, rode the IE bus back. Go earlier in the day avoids crowds. Don't bother with the lobster rolls, they're much better on the ship. Tender operations smooth and easy.

Whale watching excursion cancelled due to weather but safety was captain's first priority and we appreciated that. The City is gorgeous so we spent more time sightseeing and eating lobster rolls

if you want to shop this is the place, our whale watching excursion was cancelled due to wind, I have no problem with that better than being seasick for 3 hours

The was a fun port. since we have been here several times in the past, we just took a bus ride around the Acadia National Park and later shopped in the stores near the port.
