Review summary
This was our first cruise on this ship and our first time in Canada and New England. We had a wonderful time and recommend this cruise to all our friends and family. The ship is beautiful and clean. The staff are friendly. The restaurants had excellent service and the meals were tasty. There were many negative reviews and it made me nervous but we were really pleased. My only complaint is that you cannot get decent food after the main restaurants are closed. Last seating is 9:30. There is a pizza place and a place to get sandwiches. Both are so bad I could only eat there once. I know that all cruise lines have cut back on late night food but at least make this food edible and give more variety. We loved the ports and enjoyed our excursions. One warning is that "The Best of Bar Harbor" excursion does not stop at the top of Cadillac Mountain for pictures. It goes around it but not to the top. We had called before booking on line and asked about it stopping there and were told yes and so were other passengers but we were told by the tour guides it does not stop or even go to the top. The 5 of us complained to Shore Excursions when we returned to the ship and were refunded 20%. We appreciate their acknowledging our disappointment. We booked the whale watching out of Boston and it was cancelled because the water was too rough. We got our money refunded and I was very glad for that so we took the duck boat tour and had a great time. I recommend seeing Peggy's Cove, the Bay of Fundy and St. Maarten. I would go back to all of our ports of call in the future. This trip was well worth it.

Ship tip
Check out your excursions and don't just go by the descriptions. Many people did the hop on and hop off trolleys and were just as happy as we were with our excursions which cost a lot more. Beware trying to save money by booking an excursion yourself because of fee to get there.
