Nice little town with many shops and good places to eat. We went on a nature cruise with the Bar Harbor Whale Watching Co. and had an excellent tour guide and the weather was beautiful.

If not my favorite port it was in the top 2. Beautiful area. Did the excursion to Arcadia National Park and saw some good autumn colors.

Bar Harbor was beautiful. We did the Acadia Natl Park/Lobster Lunch. My only complaint on this tour is that we were taken by large bus and only got 2 short photo stops in the park and in my opinion they werent prime places for photos. The bus goes by so fast that you can't get pics from the bus. So I think if I went again I would do another mode of transportation. I had wanted to do the carriage ride through the park but worried about the weather. It was beautiful what we could see of it, I just would have liked to see more of the prime spots. Cars could pull over to see the good spots but busses couldn't. Lobster lunch or steak if you don't eat seafood was excellent. Steak was very tender and my husband had been served a whole lobster which he said was excellent.

Favorite port. Free buses, good solid information at the pier and park ranger station. Lots of shops and places to eat.

My favorite port. We did an excursion through Acadia and absolutely loved it. We are planning a trip back just to Bar Harbor for a week to indulge in some of the other activities that we did not get an opportunity for.

We just walked off. This is basically a tourist shopping destination that had little culturally to offer. Clean and beautiful though

Beautiful Port! We took a small Group Tour of 14 which toured around Bar Harbor and into Acadia National Park to the top of Cadillac Mountain. Stunning views! Loved being in a small group. Our Guide was terrific. He recommended lunch at Galyn's, which was fabulous. He definitely steered us in the right direction! The Fall Colors were vibrant! Will definitely return to Bar Harbor!

Had some lobster lunch there. Very good!!👍😄 did no excursion, just walked around the city. Nice and small town. Recommend to eat lobster and try the local beer.

Lovely village. Don’t buy souvenirs close to the ship. Go up the street about 5 blocks and the same items are much less expensive. It’s a beautiful place.
