Some of our family did the Best of Bar Harbor while a few others did the Acadia National Park and carriage ride. Both of these excursions were excellent and highly recommended.

Acadia is lovely but may still be overcast in May. Park services don't open to later in the month so no passport stamp if visiting in early May.

THE BEST day of excursions - the trip to Jordan Pond....wow; and to be on the summit of Cadillac Mountain was amazing.

This was, by far, my favorite port. We did the excursion that toured Acadia National Park and included a lobster lunch at a local country club. Both were fantastic. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about Bar Harbor and you could feel the love she had for Maine during her talks on the tour. The lobster lunch was fantastic and fun. After lunch, my aunt and I walked the streets of Bar Harbor to do some shopping. We definitely enjoyed our time in this port.
