We didn't dock here because of turbulent sea but visited easily from Hamiliton where we docked the entire time.

Were not able to disembrk in St. George due to high winds. The cruise line provided bus passes for one day so we went and did our own walking tour. Very nice, small town. Lunch at Angelina's very tasty and a good value.

The Somers garden is a must-see: not only it transports you to a time in the past when english type gardens were appreciated, but speciment plants and trees are named and marked with explanations for gardeners' curiousity.

The "must see"s are the beautiful beaches with crytal clear water of different shades of blue, soft sand, amazing rock formations, and tropical fish that you can swim with and see with a snorkel and mask. Seeing the pastel homes and colorful flowers everywhere is impossible to miss. Didn't check out the restaurants on the island (enjoyed the food on the ship, which was already paid for). We did really enjoy the Crystal Caves/Fantasy Caves with its incredible stalactites and stalagmites and pretty garden.

Not much to see really. Fortunately we docked in Hamilton which was much more interesting.

St. George is okay but rent a scooter and head over to Hamilton. St. George has St. Catherine's beach and Tobacco Bay but Horseshoe Beach was one of the most beautiful and clean beaches I have ever seen and I've seen a lot of them.

Fort st. Catherine haunted excrusion was great!! disappointed that St. David Lighthouse was closed for season. Not much to do with the street festival. (on first visit, much more) - loved the addition of live actors portraying people of importance to Bermuda History - White Horse Salon food was really good, however the Hideaway resturant was not an enjoyable visit (ambiance, food, decor, etc - the waiter was very nice though)
