Most beautiful place on earth! Must check out the beaches throughout the island!! The ferry is very affordable to go from place to place. Horseshoe beach was beautiful.

We took the NCL tender over to St. Georges. The ride over was pretty and we napped on the ride back there hours later (it was packed on the way back, earplugs came in handy for that much needed nap). St. George's has friendly people. It is not good for wheelchairs. The historic streets are bumpy and cobblestones and the shops have barriers. We headed back to the pier to go inside and view the World Heritage Exhibit, it was locked up tight at 4:40 pm on a Monday afternoon, so all we could do was wait for the 5:15 tender. On Tuesday, we booked the 2 pm two hour boat tour of the famous homes of Bermuda, through the excursion desk. It was well worth the $79 cost. Robert, the tour guide, was so fun and informative, we received an interesting history of the island and a botany lesson, along with seeing the beautiful homes. Captain Jamie serenaded us and Derrick makes a strong drink for $7. I highly recommend this tour. The crew helped my mom walk the plank on and off the boat, they aren't afraid of wheelchairs like the taxis and shuttles on the island, my mom was able to climb the ten stairs to the top deck. The top deck offers seating under a bimini in the shade, or in the sun if you want to catch rays. Seating is first come first served. We arrived last and people automatically volunteered to move so my mom could sit in the shade. There was also plenty of seating on the first level, under cover, and the audio of the tour can be heard down there.

We did the night fishing which was so much fun! The crew was helpful and fun to be around. They really gave great attention to everyone. We also did the Kayak tour, so much fun seeing the sea turtles. Horseshoe beach is a must! We did the crystal caves on our own by taking the ferry and then the city bus, it was definitely cheaper but paying for excursions gets you door to door service so if you don't want to walk, buy the excursion.

Lots of great shops, history and friendly people! Loved the Frog and Onion, we are sure to grab a refreshing beverage and delicious plate of their nachos each time!!

Most of the island was closed for labor day. You need a shuttle, taxi, ferry, or public bus to get around to shops, restaurants and beaches
