Review summary

Since it was a crossing was surprised that only a couple of days we were rocking and rolling! Otherwise nice and smooth!

Not bad if you just ignore the impatient people who always seem to be in a hurry to get from one point to another. Same one who cannot put down the phone.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The specialty restaurant was wonderful, great service and the food was so good. Could have rolled me out! The buffet upstairs was well done and the service was great. Keep in mind that most people are still in a hurry and a few were very rude to employees. Sad! The main dining room was just okay! The food in the buffet was must better. The service was very slow, taste was just okay and at time the food arrived hot and other times just cool and the last meal I had was cold. Server never asked why it was not eaten and I have learned do not bother. Even if they bring another why since everyone else has finished eating?

Sabatini's

WONDERFUL! Is the only word I can think that does not really describe the service, food and drinks. Everything was the correct temperature! Service was outstanding and all items delivered at the right time. Thanks for a great evening at the almost end of the trip.

Onboard Activities

The best was the quizzes! Especially Matt O! The lectures by David Russell was outstanding!

Wish I had more time to walk around and see everything since I lived there in the mid 90's!

Ponta Delgada, Azores

Since all I did was just walk around and see as much as possible.

Lisbon, Portugal

Would have been better if I did not have to waste time trying to find the building that the person at the excursion counter indicated to go to exchange the coupon. Come to find out later after walking around for about an hour all I had to do was go to the bus and they exchanged the pass! Otherwise it was a great visit.

Bilbao, Spain

Walked around both the old and new town. Had lunch at a wonderful café that was out of the way of the main traffic. Great food, service and price.

Le Havre (Paris), France Did not visit port

Due to bad weather ended in Southampton a day early.

Southampton (London), England

Should have waited another day! The day was cold and very windy and the next was warm and sunny. That day was spent mostly in the airport.

Disembarkation

Again just like the start, most were in a hurry and had to be first. So very sad to a wonderful trip!
