We went to Horseshoe beach via shuttle. Super cheap way to get there at $7pp. The driver was awesome. He gave a little tour and explained some of the sites along the way. The drivers on the way back stopped to allow some photo taking. The beach itself was AMAZING. Very clean and beautiful. We rented loungers and umbrella for $50. They do take credit and debit cards. The second day we walked the port area for a little shopping. It was very hot so we didn’t stay long. It was long enough to get the souvenirs we were looking for.

We enjoyed Bermuda but, the weather was not great. We had an excursion planned that was cancelled due too windy. We ended up getting a taxi and went to Horseshoe Bay Beach.

Beautiful place to cruise to. We went to Horseshoe Bay for an afternoon and then we did a minibus tour of the beautiful island.

Hey fellow cruisers! Has anyone gone to Crystal and Fantasy Caves in Hamilton Parish, Bermuda? My fiancee and I wanted to check it out when we first port at Kings Wharf. Saw you can take a ferry across--just wondering if anyone has done it before and if it is worth the trip. Heard the Swizzle Inn is right across from it too, which a lot of people recommend. Thanks in advance for the feedback!😀

Don't get me wrong, Bermuda is a beautiful place, however, unless you take one of the 3 excursions......Glass bottom boat, snorkeling, or the beach, there is absolutely nothing to do. If you walk around the shops in King's Wharf, they are very, very expensive. Not only that, we wanted to go and play the game where they lock you in the room and you have to solve riddles to get out but it did not open until 1pm, which I thought was crazy since the ship left at 3pm. So, we just got back on the ship.

I love Bermuda and always feel safe. Unfortunately I don't think we had enough time to do a lot of sightseeing on our own. We had been there before and did not go on an excursion.

Never got to see it since we were sent elsewhere. San juan was our 1st stop. Here governor closed museums and the forts.I do not think they even expected us, not a lot to do at the port. We walked to both forts and took pictures before walked back to ship. Amber cove: unless you booked excursion not a lot to do here either. Because we were to go to Bermuda i had no time to do research these ports. I am really disappointed Carnival decided to take us to eastern Caribbean where another storm was going up north instead of taking us a little more south. Especially when we had to give up Bermuda, i know weather issues and all but 4000 people were paying for bermuda and got ports with almost nothing to do.
