Review summary

While this wasn't a cruise we chose (a family member got married), we had a fun time. Carnival should be more diligent about insisting parents remain with unsupervised children. My favorite part of the cruise was out cabin. We loved the floor-to ceiling views throughout the cruise.

Everything we ate was delicious. Loved the Burritos and the Sea Day Brunch especially. We would just like to note that the lines were always long for the pizza and deli lines. There should be more access to food when the buffet and/or restaurants are closed.

The evening activities were a little lacking. The children frequently just watched movies in the evening.

The Lido Deck often felt crowded and the main pool is way too small for the number of passengers. Children often swam unsupervised and I helped a number of kids who were weak swimmers yet did not have flotation devices. We heard that many parents dropped their kids in the main pool and swam at the Serenity Pool . Children were also diving into the hot tubs and doing flips, which made it unpleasant for the other bathers and unsafe for the kids.

Loved the Grand Scenic Oceanview. So much more room and beautiful views, no matter where we were.
