Overall we had a great trip. Love the CD. This was a second honeymoon for us and we had a great relaxing trip.

Main dining was ok. We did not get a hot meal once. Food was warm. Never hot. I do have to say everything we had was tasty. We visited the steakhouse, Cucina and Seafood shack. All we’re absolutely amazing and delicious. Well worth the upcharge.

We participated in trivia a few times at the red frog. Didn’t do any other activities.

I didn’t feel the staff were as friendly as other cruises. The waiters for the most part were not attentive at all. It seemed like they were overwhelmed. Our room steward was ok. He was MIA the first day. I asked for evening service but occasionally I requested morning and he was very accommodating. Bar staff in the Red Frog were terrible. There’s no incentive for good service when the tip is already included. Bar staff in the atrium was the best. I just didn’t feel the level of service was there. We compared to our trip on the horizon and were disappointed. We had the sunrise booked for next year and cancelled to book another ship.
Ship Quality

We did not care for the layout. Having to walk through the casino was horrible. The comedy club was very difficult to find initially. However, you have to walk around the Smokey casino bar to get to the elevators to get there. Overall the ship was very clean with the exception of the passengers who use elevators and corners to drop off their used dishes.
The lido layout with the stadium seating was great. The drawback is the addition of the guys burger and blue iguana forced tight areas in the walkways by them. Just enough space for one person to walk if there’s a line.
We didn’t like the layout of the serenity deck. Too many loungers and not enough clam shells.
Cabin / Stateroom

Cabin was as expected. Was clean and I love the beds and pillows.
We went to Horseshoe beach via shuttle. Super cheap way to get there at $7pp. The driver was awesome. He gave a little tour and explained some of the sites along the way. The drivers on the way back stopped to allow some photo taking. The beach itself was AMAZING. Very clean and beautiful. We rented loungers and umbrella for $50. They do take credit and debit cards. The second day we walked the port area for a little shopping. It was very hot so we didn’t stay long. It was long enough to get the souvenirs we were looking for.
Love Grand Turk. This was the third time. We did the dune buggy tour and really enjoyed it. The guides were awesome. There really isn’t much to see there. The best part of the island is the beach.
