We took the Crystal Caves and Aquarium Zoo excursion which also took us to the Botanical Gardens and pointed out the sights. Enjoyed our tour guide who was from the United States and was able to give us information on how interesting items such as housing costs, how water is collected, etc. The time at the Aquarium/Zoo was too short --make sure you see the Zoo. The Harbor night street festival was fun.

Obviously the "city" of Bermuda with lots of chain stores and shopping options. We didn't explore as much in Hamilton due to our other activities and the goal to not shop! There are still lots of historic things to see and we have them on our itinerary for next time. The wednesday night street party was fun and features many local artists, live music, and just an overall theme of a party. I highly recommend renting biccyles and following the stunning railroad trail along the west side of the island (we started at Cambridge Beaches and traveled to Hamilton-returned the bikes by ferry from the Dockyard). It's not for the faint of heart to travel short distances on the main road but if you are active and brave it was a highlight of our trip. The trail allows only bikes and sometimes scooters and offers amazing views of Bermuda. I really felt like we saw the island this way. We went off the trail to see Elbow Beach which is stunning.

Enjoyed Wed. night festival. Easy access to cabs/bus from port. Town has grown. People on island friendly. Beaches beautiful. Took Snorling with scooters trip. Lots of fun.

We bought the 2 day transportation pass for the bus/ferry which allowed us to visit other areas of the island.

If you want to see most of the island, you have to rent a scooter, it's the best way.

Easy to get around. This is especially important to me since I am handicapped.

Hamilton has a lot to offer. If you are a Yacht club member have lunch at the Burmuda Yacht Club. Also the Maritime museum was enjoyed by others in my group.
