Cruise to Bermuda

Sail Date: July 08, 2006

Reviewed: 10 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Inside

We were on the Empress of the Seas for a cruise to Bermuda. The ship was very clean and the entertainment each evening was superb. The never-ending food was delicious and our meals were always hot. Each evening the head waiter would visit our table and inquire about the food and service as well as tell us a story. The addition of Ben and Jerry's ice cream and the Seattle coffee bar were nice improvements. I'm sure I will sail with Royal Caribbean again.

Pros: The friendly staff and the food, of course.

Cons: The room was quite small.

Cabin / Stateroom
Even though our room was very small, it was always clean and cool. Finding a place for the luggage was a problem.
Ship Quality
This was a smaller ship, but it was very clean and the decor was very modern.
Food and Dining
The food was excellent. The variety endless.
Service and Staff
All staff were very friendly and helpful.
Entertainment
The nightly entertainment was superb. The dancers and singers were excellent. I really enjoyed the comedian on our last night.

Don't Miss: catamaran trip to turtle bay
Hamilton, Bermuda
We bought the 2 day transportation pass for the bus/ferry which allowed us to visit other areas of the island.
Don't Miss: walking tour of hamilton
