The town has a very nice feel about it. I wish I had more time to explore the town. We only had enough time for the tour.

Sikta is a small town. I talked to a local and he recommened me to visit the Nature History Park at the east side of town by 20 mins walk. There's totem poles and beautiful trails in the wood. That was a wonderful place you should not miss.

We did the Tongrass Hike, and it was very +/-. Instead of the described hiking in the woods, we had an out of shape lady take us on a manicured route that included retracing paths, walking on highways. Very tame. Additionally, according to our guide, every plant in the forest can cure some disease. It got pretty old.

We thoroughly enjoyed Sitka. It was our favorite city because it was so quaint. We saw seals, bald eagles and otters from the tenders. Incredible experience.
