Didn't spend any time here because we had to get on bus to travel to Anchorage. Too much time spent traveling on the bus. 9 1/2 hours to Denali. Should have been by train.

Great port. We arrived 2 days before the cruise and had a great visit. Super nice folks, good food at Thorns Lounge, and town had a grocery store.

We disembarked here but immediately boarded a bus to Anchorage so we didn't explore. Looked very cute while driving through.

Glaciers and whale watching tours. Also the dog sled visit is good as it matches the train arrival. Small town, interesting sights.

We stayed in Anchorage for a couple of days prior to the cruise. We used Bear Paw Transport for the trip there - I would highly recommend them!

If you couldn't fit in visiting the musher camp in port, United cruises has a great excursion to see camp and spend day doing few other activities called the real alaska tour and it's awesome.
