I would have liked this port better if we had not tendered in. I did an excursion at this port. And I also wanted to explore the town afterwards. I had very little time to do that because I had to consider the time it took to tender back to the ship.

We did zip lining. It was a lot of fun. I would have liked more than seven zip lines, but, it was fun nonetheless. And, very cool crowd of people showing you how to do it properly. I'd do it again. Again, Ketchikan is a tourist trap. Unless you're into buying jewelry, I wouldn't spend much time in town.

Ketchikan is a good place to catch king Salmon in the summer. I went with this ship: http://www.avidanglercharters.com. The captain Larry Wiseman is very pleasant.

This was our most enjoyable port of call! The Lumber Jack Show was quality entertainment! The hostess was engaging. The Lumber Jacks were handsome, capable men who also had a sense of humor and were entertaining! Afterward, all were willing to stand by and sign autographs and have their picture made with audience members!
