We did the Tom Kat Cart adventure.. it was a lot of fun and the staff was very knowledgeable. We also had time in the town for shopping- the streets are mostly under construction which takes away the beauty of the town. Reason for one less star.

Fantastic! Take the tour to Silver King Lodge. The wildlife is amazing. From sea lions and harbour seals swimming alongside our boat to watching bald eagles pluck fish from the water this was nothing short of spectacular! And to top it off with three humpback whales bubble feeding just metres from the boat - fantastic!!!

We did one excursion - traveled by tram and then did a hike in the mountains. It poured rain the whole time but they provided rain slickers and hiking sticking. Really enjoyed but would not recommend to anyone who is not in good shape. Had a 80 year old couple who had a lot of difficult and we kept having to stop and wait for them...not a problem for me. Concern about the couples well being.

This was very nice. But next time I won't book any excursions until i get to the port of call. Booking directly with the locals is a better option. Our tour guide was a 7 out of 10. There was a different tour that would have taken us closer to the bears.

We had plenty of time at port in Ketchikan. We were at the farthest port from Creek Street but it was an easy walk there. We had lunch at Bar Harbor Restaurant and it was reasonably priced and delicious!

Our second Alaskan cruise w/ Princess. 8/27/18: Went to the Totem Bight State Historical Park, watched the Lumberjack show, and bought salmon at Salmon market for friends & fam back home. Touristy and fun! Weather was partly cloudy, 63 °.

Charming. Touristy. I think the jewelry shops took away from the cuteness of the town. We did the Totem Bight park and it was interesting and informative. Also, toured around the town a little. It only took 5 minutes to get from ship to town, super easy.
