Low cost souvenirs. Ship was close to town. We went to the Great Alaskan Lumberjack Show and it was very entertaining.

Lumberjack show! Get interactions with audience. Cheaper if you just walk over to it and buy a ticket inside the store. The show entrance is in the back door of the store.

This was a very cool stop. Creek street was colorful and informative. The people in Alaska are so friendly and the scenery is beautiful. My wife Glenda Shockley and I are drawn to this majestic place.

This was my favorite port. Visit Creek St!!! I loved it. We did the Lumberjack Show. This port I had ample amount of time to explore. It is cute and unique. Yes, they have a lot of tourist stuff, but what do you expect. It is how the people who are year-rounders make a living..on cruise ships arriving. Silly people!

No excursions here, just walked around town and took photos. Ate at Annabelle’s which was awesome! Had dungenous crab that came with delicious homemade herb bread! There was a lot of road construction when we were there, so I’m sure it’s better without that. Creek Street had the Most unique shopping of any port of call on this cruise. You must stop and shop here!

My husband did a Halibut Hunting excursion with several friends in our group. Our freezer is now filled with the halibut, cod and rockfish he caught!

This is the it place to get your shopping done. Great variety, budget friendly selections and genuine local vendors. This differs a lot from the other ports which are bombarded by jewelers and pricier vendors owned by the cruise lines. There is also a free white school bus that shuttles you around town. 20min waiting intervals near the cruise tram.
