We didn't venture out too far. Just shopped at nearby shops. It was our only rainy day on our cruise. We had plenty of rain gear, but just wasn't feeling it that day.

Ketchikan is a neat, neat town. Very picturesque. I enjoyed the views, creek street very quaint. Jewelry shop personnel were more aggressive here but I did purchase some jewelry and again took advantage of free coupon items. I really enjoyed. Time there was fine.

Loved this port. Did a very fun pub crawl that gave us a good tour of this city. Would have liked longer time in this port. We were only there in the morning.

I fell a little bit in love with Ketchikan. It was adorable. We went to a crab feed at George Inlet Lodge that was so, so, so good. We booked it ourselves (not through the ship) and it was great. A Kids Camp employee from the ship and her husband, who is a cabin steward, were on this tour, it was their second time going. I thought it was a good sign that cruise ship workers were choosing to spend their few precious hours off going to a place they'd already been.

I didn't spend much time in port as was getting tired from lots of activity. I wasn't up to going downtown which I wish I could have as the eagles seem to hang out there and missed the gardens and totems. We did take a float plane ✈️ out to the Misty Fjords and it was gorgeous! Our pilot was funny and sweet. We sat down on water and stepped out. Did not see any wildlife but nature was awesome
