We did the Crabfeast Flightseeing excursion. The crabs were hot and huge and an all you can eat. Go hungry! A great time had by all!

Beautiful town. Wish we had more time to explore it. Our tour guide was Karen and she was hilarious! Again, all the diamond shops became tiring. But we did find this cute little coffee shop called Sweet Mermaids. Could tell it was a local favorite, and I could tell why. AMAZING pastries and the chai latte mmmmmmmm.

We did a crab excursion. Went on a boat and learned about crabbing and then had all you can eat crab. Even though our son had chicken over crab. Him getting to through fish to a wild bald eagle made a memory of a lifetime.

Loved the duck tour of the harbor. We saw wildlife, heard interesting history and had a hilarious tour guide and driver (Cody and Eric were great).

We had a fantastic time in Ketchikan. We visited the Rainforest Sanctuary and that’s where we finally saw a bear and cubs on our trip. Also walked around the town, went through Creek Street and ate at 108 Taphouse and Burger Bar which was phenomenal. Would love to go back here one day but truthfully, I don’t think we would do an excursion as there’s so many things to do and see there in town.

Our time in Ketchican was spent exploring the town, gathering souvenirs, walking to the downtown Ketchican sign and viewing the low tide starfish. Sweet little town.

We booked our own excursions off of the ship and saved a significant amount. Float plane over Misty Fjords is a must-see-and-do here! Amazing!
