We lucked out with beautiful, sunny weather. Walked around town and Creek Street- a very walkable port. Wish we would of had more time to explore the area.

shopped here too. There is a free bus to the main town so you don't have to stay with the"port" shops

You have to go on the Totem Pole excursion. You will learn so much of the Native Alaskan culture.

Really fun town - but don't pay extra for tourist King Crab or Salmon (you'll do better on board ship).

buy all your trinkets here as I found it the least expensive of all ports. Also bought a wonderful "Alaska" jacket for $19.95 here.

Really cute little town. Got to see bald eagles, and salmon. We did the walking tour since we really didn’t have enough time in port. But is was nice to walk around town and see some animals. They have lots of gift shops so definitely a good place to get souvenirs. It was raining a little but nothing to crazy, and the weather was nice around the 60’s.

GORGEOUS town full of history and friendly people! We explored on our own and found plenty to do. It's a great town to walk around, and the scenery is breathtaking. Hoping to go back soon.
