Once again, NCL to save money has a dock 20 min out of town and requires waiting for busses and 20 minute bus ride.

Picturesque town on the water. We did a city tour and really enjoyed it. Saw deer playing by the ocean, and saw a bald eagle swoop down on a stream to grab a salmon.

Five stars because of the seaplane ride to the Misty Fjord area. Great landing on a peaceful lake! Booked the seaplane through Carlin Air at the pier. Great group! Also did a Saxman village and totem pole tour through Princess that was too long.

Didn't have a very long time in Ketchikan. A lovely town. I actually have a friend who lives there who showed us around. Went to the edge of town to a little log cabin resort, and saw LOTS of eagles! Beautiful!

We loved Ketchikan. There's a nice library there, and a history museum that is free for kids. We saw some cool totem poles. There was a great local brewery there, too. We saw a few more bald eagles on departing Ketchikan.
