The ziplining adventure at Ketchikan offers views of the area, along with the Salmon hatchery and other wildlife, such as bald eagles, bears, native bird species)

Misty Fjord float plane excursion was wonderful. Town lacks activities other than shopping.

This port was okay. We did a trolley tour which was good, and did several stops to look for wildlife. We didn't see anything. It was also pouring down rain so that didn't help. Before we got back on the ship we ate at the Arctic Bar, which was pretty good.

For this port I would probable say, you can rent a car and do it on your own. There was not much that caught our eye other that doing some Eco-Kayaking and the rainforest hike. The Eco-Kayaking was really great, a lot of info and just a relaxing experience. We were not rushed and it definitely did not feel like I had worked out all my muscles the next day. Our guide, driver, and staff were all incredible friendly and easy to talk to. Unfortunately, for us the rainforest was a little disappointing since there was not much to see in wildlife (it depends on the month you travel). The guide was great, you could tell she loves what see does and tries to get everyone participating. The visit to the totem carving station was not much to it, there is a board behind the carver that tells you what he is working on and where you can find more information on the totem pole he is doing, I felt like we were bothering him. We did see a lot of Eagles, that was great.

Quaint, charming. Our tour guide, David, a Tlingit Indian, was the best..extremely knowledgable and entertaining. I was impressed & honored that he shared some of the Tlingit history & customs with us. Time spent in Ketchikan too short.

This stop was a favorite! Did the wildlife lodge and seafood fest. If you like seafood this is the excursion for you. Wonderful people and lunch was fantastic.
