Picked up tours when we got off the ship, went whale watching then to the Mendenhall Glacier. Both were great. Saved a lot over booking same thing through cruise line.

Saw lots of whales on the whale trip which was very exciting. Crew was fantastic and excited just like the passengers.

Small quaint town. Glad we were the second ship in as once the other two ships joined, the town got a bit crowded.

Must sees: Mt. Roberts tramway and Mendenhall Glacier. Don't spend a fortune on the shore excursion. There are taxis and buses at the pier to take you to Mendenhall Glacier.

Crowded!!!! Around 20-30 buses at Mendenhall Glacier. Ride the tram up to Mt. Roberts instead, hiking trails, restaurant, nature center, gift shop, and great view.

We visited the beautiful Mendenhall glacier and the hikes in that area. Didn’t have time to do anything else. Time here was limited.

We rented a car and explored outside of Juneau since we had 12 hours in port. Saw a black bear at one of the park streams.
