Today was amazing. Highly recommend the Temsco helicopter glaciers walk and Dolphin Jet Boat Tours. Saw several whales, sea lions and eagles. The bus ride was informative and Captain Ken and Katie were wonderful.

We took a tour of Mendenhall Glacier - there was a wonderful visitor's center that was filled with interesting information, displays, and a film. Like many tours, there was not enough time to hike around. After the tour we had time to take the gondola up to Mt. Roberts and enjoy the views and a short hike.

Took the "Bike and Brew Glacier view" tour. It was a great ride out to Mendenhall Glacier and a great photo op. At the end of the glacier tour you load up into vans to move on to the microbrewery for beer tasting.

We booked our Helicopter Glacier Dog Sledding tour with Temsco helicopters in Juneau. A pricey excursion, but LOVED IT!

We didn't see much of Juneau because of limited port time and a long excursion (Whale Quest, Mendenhall Glacier and Orca Point Lodge).

We went on Harv and Marv's whale watching excursion. It was the best. Our party of 14 was on a private boat. Our Captain John and Director Andrea were great. They spotted the whales and we were right there to see their beauty. They had drinks and snacks for all. A great excursion for all ages.

It rained off and on the whole day we were in Juneau but we still had a great time. We rode the Mt Roberts Tramway. There is a beautiful view at the top. They have a bald eagle that was rescued because it's blind in one eye and there was a man carving a new totem pole. There are some great trails for hiking up there as well. We had lunch at Tracy's King Crab Shack. My husband and I shared one king crab leg. It came with a roll and liquid butter. It was expensive but delicious. They also have 20 minutes of free wifi. We explored the town and enjoyed browsing in the stores to stay out of the rain. My favorite shop was the Glacier Smoothie Silt Soap store. It was the cutest little store and the girl working there was so nice, informative and helpful. I ended up purchasing a gift set of the soaps as a unique souvenir to bring back for my friends and family. Definitely check it out!
