I had a wonderful cruise, enjoyed the food, entertainment, views and excursions.
Embarkation

Boarded in Vacouver BC. Everything was a bit confusing though they did have lots of staff pointing the way. Once on board, it got even more confusing. We didn't know our way around the ship and just had to use trial and error to find our cabin.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
We used open seating in the main dining room. Food was outstanding, selection diverse and service impeccable. We even befriended on of our servers who had a great sense of humor. I appreciated the small portions as it gave me a chance have an appetizer, entree and dessert without felling like I was stuffed.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
There was lots of entertainment to choose from during the day. Enjoying the scenery of the inside passage and Discovery Bay National Park was the best. When it rained we retreated to the various lounges to watch the views. During our days at sea, we often joined the trivia and bingo games in the lounge.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
We attended a few of the main shows, the comedian and dance shows were fun. But I especially liked the Piano Lounge where Anna entertain us with topical performances - C&W, 70's, etc. But the best part was when she took requests. She knew every song requested and had a voice that could rival some of the best singers.
We also had many nature type talks in the main lounge. The best was a Discovery Bay National Park Ranger - this women shared a story of her 10 day kayak trip in Glacier Bay. Wonderful storyteller.
Service and Staff

The staff was amazing - our room steward, Yudi, was thoughtful and friendly. We need to have our cabin AC repaired and it was done just a few hours after we requested it. Each day after than, Yudi checked to ensure it was still working well.
We had an amazing server in the dining room - Badarudin - he was friendly, funny, sweet, and thoughtful. His jokes had us laughing throughout the whole meal.

Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
We were thrilled with the size of the cabin. We had plenty of space in the bathroom, the closets were roomy and even had adjustable shelves to make better use of the space. Drawers under the bed and under the small sofa were an added bonus. And there were even warm throw blankets and bathrobes. This was way more than I anticipated.
Ship tip
Explore the ship. There are many single staircases to the higher decks that are not obvious. Also, I was surprised to find out that Deck 4 Forward had access to the bow of the ship for amazing views.
Great place to learn about the history of the area. The tour of the Potlatch Totem Park was fascinating. I was glad to have brought my rain coat as we had off and on showers.
We did some walking around Creek St. - an old historic area. Small and quaint, filled with many shops. There are some terrific finds of handmade local crafts between the typical t-shirt shops.
We took a tour of Mendenhall Glacier - there was a wonderful visitor's center that was filled with interesting information, displays, and a film. Like many tours, there was not enough time to hike around. After the tour we had time to take the gondola up to Mt. Roberts and enjoy the views and a short hike.
My favorite port - its a sweet old town that was a starting point for the Klondike Gold Rush. We wondered around the shops and historic buildings. Very informative. Then a bus ride up White Pass and Yukon route. The bus driver was terrific - informative and funny.
