My Family and I went on a helicopter ride to a Glacier and it was one of the best moments of my life! If you ever have the chance take a helicopter ride to a glacier!

We did the helicopter glacier trek, so glad we did this instead of the dog sleds, AMAZING and best pictures of the whole trip. Don’t miss this.

We took the whale watching and Mendenhall Glacier excursion. We did see humpbacks, but we saw more active whales sailing along Endicott Arm. At the end of the cruise we did get see a mother whale (Flame, who is well known by the locals) and her baby (Bunson, who the town threw a party for when he arrived this season) with a male escort. They said it is rare to have a male nearby the mother and baby. It was really interesting to watch all 3 of them make their fluke dives, especially the mom and baby. The visit to Mendenhall Glacier went by too quickly. I could have spent much longer there. 5 of our group hiked to Nuggets Fall during our visit and it was worth the time. Gorgeous view! The 3 who did not hike enjoyed the visitors center and talking to the rangers who said two bears were seen there earlier in the day.

It's a nice port to visit. Not as touristy as Skagway. You have to visit Tracy's King Crab Shack for King Crab. It's amazing!

Please do Mendenhall Glacier, it's superb. Also take the city bus for $2.00 one way.

I missed my whale watching excursion due to engine issue. I was disappointed but they immediately credited me back (good reason to book with cruise line) and also gave everyone on board $100 on board credit for arriving in Juneau 2 hours late. I thought that was generous. Plus, we saw humpback whales while on board, anyway!

I loved whale watching and seeing mendenhall glacier! There was a great hike at the glacier to see the waterfall and that was some of the best scenery and I wish I lived in Alaska so I could see it everyday!

We splurged here and took a private Whale Watching boat trip with a set of friends. AMAZING! Our captain and mate shared so much information that made the trip even more spectacular. We saw several whales, no breeches but lots of incredible whale tail photos! https://alaskaluxurytours.com/
