Not much to do unless you are into adventure. Icy Strait Brewing in town had a couple of good beers and fantastic salmon cakes. It is gorgeous scenery.

Icy Strait has some of the best whale watching in Alaska... even better, the tours leave directly from the cannery so you don't spend hours on buses. Go brown bear viewing at the nearby Spasski River. The zipline is a rush and the views from the peak of Glacier Bay and Icy Strait are simply amazing!

Tiny port, 5 minute or less walk to a few shops and crab stand. This port was in place of Ketchikan and it was very disappointing

We had a great time. We rode the gondola up and down. The few was Devine. We purchased all kinds of gifts for our family. The mine excursion was awesome.

Town was closed due to covid so no one got to do anything but chill at the shops in the port. Food was way overpriced.
