Superb views of the awesome Hubbard glacier..up close and was able to see the phenomenon of calving. It would be a shame to see the receding of this spectacular glacier.

Wonderful sight; stayed on ship; naturalist narrates on decks and on your stateroom TV.

Amazing... and do the excursion... there's only one and it's a boat tour that gets you up close to the glacier while the cruise ship anchors out from it a good distance. It's a do not miss!

Loud and living glacier. The Zaandam got as close as it was safe to get to it. Bergs were calving, creating giant waves and loud noises.

Even though we had to leave earlier than planned due to an emergency. The couple hours we had for photo oportunities were great. The captain managed to get us pretty close to the glacier.
