Now that Amber Cove has been open for awhile, what are your thoughts on the port? We were there in January and I was not overly impressed.

I haven't been there yet, but am willing to try any port at least once.

It was opened last Aug/Sept I believe. The port was nice and clean, shops where mostly empty which is fine, but I found The excursions were lacking. We did the VIP Serenity's beach excursion and the location was nice but the water area was horrible.

I took a look at Amber Cove on the internet. I've never heard of it. From my understanding, it's fairly new. Maybe the location needs more time to become more seasoned at receiving cruisers.

I have not had a chance to get there, but would like to if I ever do carnival. Its showing a 65% on the port reviews.
