RCCL is testing the waters on a change of its policy on Unlimited Beverage Package. It will be more in line with what other cruise lines do. Get all the information on this link.

I agree... sad but true. Ruins it for everyone else. Cruising with a roommate in February out of NOLA, and I know I would be seriously pissed off if I had to pay for a drink package when I very rarely drink. Fortunately, roomie is of the same mindset.
Yes, when alcohol is more freely available, guests are more likely to over drink.
When I was younger I would have gotten my money worth from a drink package, now its a glass or two of wine with dinner and I'm good.
It's always those that break the rules that ruin it for everyone else.
