Grandeuer of the Seas

My husband and I took our grandchildren on a cruise to Bermuda on Royal Caribbean's Granderuer of the Seas September 2017. Our grandson is 12 and while he did enjoy himself, there was not a great deal for pre teens to do. Our granddaughter is 9 and she thoroughly enjoyed the cruise. She participated in the adventure ocean program which had a variety of activities. My husband and I participated in many activities including but not limited to : karaoke, game shows, trivia, adult comedy show, disco party, and kayaking excursion. We ate at all 3 specialty/upcharge restaurants onboard. We did not care for Chops as we were unimpressed with steaks that tasted cheap, had no flavor, and had rubbery/fatty texture. Izumi (We won a free 6 course meal) was absolutely delicious even though my husband was afraid to try sushi he liked it. Giovani's Italian cuisine was impressive though we had very slow service- the food was great. The entire staff was truly friendly, helpful, fun, and went out of their way to ensure that we had an awesome vacation. Tonya and Orlando were our favorite activities staff members as they were hillarious and gave a positive energy with every activity they lead. On the day of departure, my shirt got soaked and I had nothing to wear the guest services gave me a free Royal Caribbean tee-shirt so crisis averted!

Your cruise had ups and downs but overall sounds like it was fun.

Thanks for your review. It sounds as if, for the most part, you had a great cruise.
