Princess now has a new look

Looks great to me. First time I saw the logo was when we got on the Fair Princess in 1990, didn’t realize they called it the “Sea Witch” until much later. Loved it, I’m from the transportation industry and gave it the top rating for a logo in that game.

Had it in my mind that the logo was called, the “Fair Princess”, for a long time, the flowing hair and all. Anyway, it appears to streamline the looks of the relatively blunt bow on their two largest ships, which was necessary.

What I really like though, is that now they have a public staircase next to the mid-ship elevator tower, in the Royal, the Regal is next.

I love Princess cruises , not a big fan of the new look

I do like the new bow work -- it makes for a better flow with the witch looking to the rear of the boat.

Unfortunately, someone said that they thought it was a picture of a blue cartoon whale. Now I can't unsee thatSad

Love it - won't be trying to figure out which ship I'm supposed to be getting back on in a port...Been there done that when multiple ships are in!

I do know how much his work costs. And I still loath it.

Another shot of the "new" look. I like this one even better.

Apparently the person who found Peter Max art tacky, clearly does not know how much his art goes for. I know he designed the art for the hull for NCL Breakaway $$

That is what I was thinking!

Immediate visual recognition from a considerable distance. That's what PC did not have previous to this.

Now if they could only agree as to what direction the Sea Witch is supposed to be facing -- the logo on the bow and the logo on the stack are looking at each other.Big Smile

I, myself, l like the new look. I have only traveled once on Princess & was so annoyed by their embarkation process that we never sailed again. It wasn't just the long wait; it was that the staff kept putting others in front of our line when those passengers had their own assigned and designated line.
