Perfect Cure for Post-Cruise Depression

Having gone without having a cruise on the calendar for 3 whole days now, I contacted our local Happy Dealer and booked a 15 day Fort Lauderdale to Copenhagen on the Regal Princess.

The only bad part is that it is not until April, 2019.

Thank you Mike and Amy for your help!! (Actually, you two did all the work!)

The ShipMate app is great, but doesn't include the forum. Lots of interesting opinions and news stories here.

I mainly use ShipMate for a quick fix until I can get back to a computer.

It may sound funny but I added the ship mate app on my phone. I dont cruise again for another 357 days. It helps seeing other peoples potos and having discussions with them about almost anything to do with cruising. Happy cruising

Sounds like a great cruise. Woohoo and what a way to celebrate your retirement! Big Smile

Congratulations on having another cruise booked! That is what I need to do to get over my "cruise blues". Enjoy researching your upcoming cruise....time does fly and it will be here soon! Wink

Certainly is the perfect cure for post cruise depression. Sounds great!

I see your concern.

I checked the flight list from Copenhagen to NY and it was surprisingly less expensive than I thought it would be. (Although it was on the super-cheap carriers that I had not heard of before).

Also, the cruise lines seem to be able to get cheaper than posted airfare.

Just some food for thought.

Agree that the cruise price is better on a repo but the one way flight $$ from EU to Canada is a killer. In our case it is a combination of things. It is on the wish list.

If it is the money, the trans-Atlantic repositioning cruises are usually a bit less expensive than the normal round trip Caribbean cruises.

If it is time away from work, you could try stacking your vacation time if you work for someone. If you are self-employed, it may be a bit more difficult.

Hope you find a way!

Sounds awesome. Would love to do that as well .... but .. can't always get what you want.
