Do y'all prefer that old threads are refreshed by adding to them or that new threads are started even if the topic was discussed before?

A past posting with good information in it is probably better than a separate one. That said, I don't have the time or desire to go to deep into the discussion history to find if a previous thread exists.

If it is the same topic, I appreciate the old one being resurrected, that way you can still see the previous responses or links. Also it avoids repetition or repeating myself which I tend to not like so much
