ODD ITEMS TO MAKE CRUISING EASIER

Heres a few I MUST bring..

TEA LIGHTS..those lil cheapie battery powered thingies..buy 6 or so for a few bux any dollar store or wallyworld. the things seems to last almost forever and then toss em. for finding the bathroom etc at nite.you only need a couple for a whole week+....I cannot tell a lie...learned it in IN HERE.

EXTENSION CORD...yeh yeh I know power strips and so on, good/bad/oogly...a simple extension cord, I use a 12' to reach anywhere in the cabin for anything. stash it in a drawer in the am. no hassles.

COUPLE KITCHEN GARBAGE BAGS..yeh, for the dirty clothes, but...more importantly, if you're gong to use ships laundry (when you cruise enough to not care what it costs because its free) you put the plastic bag INSIDE their paper bag, which is designed to tear with anything more than a pair of sox in it,,,THEN stuff away.

How bout it ? any sneaky tips to help po suffering cruisers??? heheheheh

Magnetic clips were PERFECT for hanging important tickets, cruise planner, etc.

Wine protectors for protecting our packed wine (RCCL allows 2 bottles of wine/champagne per stateroom)

Hanging shoe organizer for storing and organizing room odds and ends. (We use it for the mountain of medications I bring, but also to store GoPros, sunglasses, lip balm, etc.) It keeps it off the desks, and visible.

Hanging storage holder. (for all our shoes... I hate not having a dedicated place for them)

Hanging mesh organizer (for hanging shower items in the shower... lets be real... there isn't enough room in most of them for all the toiletries you may need AND it keeps it off the ground)

Yea, I miss BAK.

We take a portable cell phone charger that you charge and take along. When cell phone goes dead just plug into portable charger, works great for our last trans atl cruise.

I think if you click it too quickly, it gets confuzzled. Thumbs don't matter anyway...now fingers, thats another story hehehehe....

Click the thumb and it works. Click again to "unlike".

Seeing as an old friend is not here to add his 2 cents ... I do recall BAK saying that he and his wife too use the experience of the cruise to change the underwear leaving the old stuff on the ship.

We might be in for a dose of TMI, but I'll take that chance...good question heheheheh

We also save up old underwear, socks and t-shirts, for cruises, so we can just throw them away when done.

LOL, How old are they that they get thrown away????

Hope it all works out for you! Safe travels!

Wink Nice one Big Smile cheers for all the super tips x

Just waiting for info of our new flights to get to our cruise as had Thomas Cook flights....may have to start paddling.
