April 2019 - 16 Night Transatlantic Eastbound (Ft. Lauderdale To Copenhagen) Cruise on Serenade of the Seas
Took tour with PaddyWagon. Saw what we wanted. Be carful of Ravens at Blarney Castle as they will try to steal food from your hand. Twice for me. Also had lunch in Irish Pub' Great
Wife bought chocolate. Visited villages and country side. Learned how land was reclaimed from lakes. Very interesting.
Stayed an additional 2 days, and had an amazing time. Learned about their culture and plans. Never met a person who wasn't smiling, and when they saw we were confused they would step in and give directions without hesitation. Alot of bikes, and never saw ant trash on streets.
Very impressed with tour and guide. Had poor impression of French people before, but after seeing them and talking, they are not at all what I thought. I came back with a greater respect for them.
Serenade of the Seas
Remember you are on vacation and this is an older ship. Just enjoy the ride'
Saw workings of working old style windmill. People actually lived inside them. Loved the history.
Wasn't expecting much,as We didn't want to see some lakes. We just walked into town and were awed by the city and history.
