We disembarked from RCL Liberty of the Seas today (3/15). It was a great family cruise and our second trip on the Liberty. The crew did a fabulous job sanitizing everything - ALL the time. None of our party (8) picked up "crud". I also heard very little coughing, sneezing, sniffling while in the theater or other public areas. I think this is because those in compromised positions didn't board, and those who came followed the "washy washy" protocol. (4500 passenger on-board) Folks actually washed their hands in the restrooms AND used sanitizer. Eating areas were alway being policed and sanitized. I think it was the healthiest cruise I've sailed. During the 30 cruise hiatus, the ship will spend the week at sea training, cleaning and allowing the crew to participate in the "cruise experience". The production team will be performing special shows for the crew and other passenger areas will be opened up for their recreations. (Included some finer dining opportunities). The ship will return to Galveston every week to re-provision, but the crew will not be allowed to visit the mainland and pick up any bugs. I bet they come back to work in 30 days in a pretty good mood. Good for RCL!
