Is it true ........?

rumour has it a certain cruise line intends to cut costs by eliminating ( or charging extra ) for prepared foods. Instead, vacationers will be forced to cook their own meals on hobo stoves......Surprised

Another possibility is the recreation of the automat.. Cruisers will use their S & S card to purchase food from behind a little glass door......Yummy If you have to ask what the Automat was, Google it. Keywords: Horn & Hardart, Automat............Big Smile

Other rumours to come,

as soon as I think of some

S&S = Sail and Sign card. It gets issued on embarkation. It is a combination room key and on-board credit card - the only way to buy anything on board.

BTW, round about the second page of a thread, we tend to get a bit sarcastic. Don't take it personally, but rather as a sign of acceptance into our sometimes dysfunctional family.

Look, I get it, i’m new. But if I ask a question, kindly answer it, and not with some sarcastic retort. Thank you.

Supper and Sot? IDK?

I like the Automat idea, but I have one question. What is an s&s card ?

If the loser is invited to breakfast, everyone is a winner.

You guys are funny

A hospital I used to work for allowed “service mini ponies.” I never saw one but it was included in the hospital’s policies on service animals. I think the service animal thing is a bit out of control. What next? Emotional support alligators? Lol

Love reading these resurrected hilarious posts- I sure needed some laughs today. Big Smile

These are cruises, not airlines....... LOL WinkHappy

What? No emotional support peacocks?!
