Inauguration Day

Will the ships be showing the Inauguration of Donald Trump on the big screens tomorrow? If you were cruising, would you watch it?

Isn't that person a left over from FV? I think they always locked horns with Zy until they vaporized Zy from the site.

Not to worry or over react- you can watch it on TV in your room.

I rarely watch TV at home. I never watch it on a cruise unless I am interested in booking shore excursions or looking up the weather reports. I think that I would just catch the highlights on the late night news programs. I spend little time in my cabin.

This is where Carnival and I part ways.

I was on the Royal Princess on the day of the Election and I was thrilled that there was no real coverage unless you chose to watch in your room ... too controversial and too many people had strong opinions on either side .. good choice on Carnival's part.

OnJohn Heald's Facebook page he said that the Carnival ships won't be showing the innauguration on the big screens, just as they didn't show the election results. I sure wouldn't be going back to my room to watch it, even if I was American.

I requested this day off 7 months ago because I knew this would be an historical day.

I found that hilarious too!

I will watch history being made

No. I am tired of the political grandstanding with nothing being accomplished.
