Inauguration Day

Will the ships be showing the Inauguration of Donald Trump on the big screens tomorrow? If you were cruising, would you watch it?

If it was on the big screen and it was a sea day, I'd watch, but if it was a port day, I'd see the reruns on tv after getting home from vacation.

I have seen enough of this circus to last a lifetime ... Nope, not planning to watch it!

I saw something on TV about Nancy Sinatra laughing because the Trumps Inaugural Dance is a song of her dad's, I Did It My Way, and the first line is " ..... the end is near, and so I face the final curtain". Predicting an early impeachment perhaps?

Maybe a glance, on my way to the bar, but I don't think I'd sit there and watch it. Not on my cruise! LOL

No. I am tired of the political grandstanding with nothing being accomplished.

I will watch history being made

I found that hilarious too!

I requested this day off 7 months ago because I knew this would be an historical day.

OnJohn Heald's Facebook page he said that the Carnival ships won't be showing the innauguration on the big screens, just as they didn't show the election results. I sure wouldn't be going back to my room to watch it, even if I was American.

I was on the Royal Princess on the day of the Election and I was thrilled that there was no real coverage unless you chose to watch in your room ... too controversial and too many people had strong opinions on either side .. good choice on Carnival's part.
