I'm Back..... No luggage though.

The cruise ship lost my luggage. I think it's gone for good.

On the plus side, great cruise. Review posted.

The customer service people were great, and fellow cruisers helped out a lot.

It has been suggested that we buy the "Air Tags" . Have any of you used them on board.

Also, has anyone had claims with Princess cruise? How did it go. I have a big one the do.

Tried again still doesn’t fit. But he was 2 miles away.

Apparently there are similar items available for an android, but “air tags” are for use on iPhone. Still haven’t had a chance to use them.

Been doing some research..leaning toward ordering..it looks like you need an IPHONE (could be wrong).. and it communicates by bluetooth to any nearby with its GPS on...there are literally thousands of posts/sites trying to describe it. beyond my paygrade. Suggest you do some reading...I'd put up a link but frankly I don't know where to start...Folks complain its not "real-time"...so if you're trying to track a child, or moving item, it shows where it was up to 20 minutes ago...apparently, it works, just not the way most folks probably think....and yes, theres batteries in em....

Are they iPhone specific?

They say you can track stuff around the world if the "system" works.

Our neighbors were able to check where their “bags” were from our house. That’s much farther than 30ft. I’ll try to keep you posted.

I'd be interested as well. I had no idea the range is really only 20-30 ft! They depend on other devices to get the signal into the system and then to you.

They (a set of four) arrived this morning! It was easy to sync them to our phones. It looks like a very helpful device. We will know more after our first trip, I've put one in my purse so we can have a "test run" in the meantime.

That's always my go to gag when someone's luggage is missing,

I also always tell my groups I cruise with "Better to tip the porters, than your luggage ending up in the harbor"

That was suggested by more than one fellow cruisers.
