How to make towel animals

The majority of passengers seem to enjoy being greeted each night with a different towel animal. Has anyone purchased the book that cruise lines sell on how to make them? If you did, were the directions easy to follow and did the creations look as good as the ones the stewards make on the ships?

If you have not bought the book, did you go to the class the ships hold on making them? How did yours turn out in the class.

Finally, would you rather just photograph them or otherwise enjoy the skill of your steward who made the ones in your cabin?

True, you never know when you might invite company to stay over & you can impress them with your creativity. Kids would love to see them, too. It is good to know that if you wanted to do so, you could make one or two of them. I hope that I am encouraging you to try at least one of the easier ones. Let us know if you do and how it turns out. We'd love a photo!

I enjoy seeing them each night, never bought the book. I will leave that artwork to my cabin stewards.

I photograph the towel animals. I bought how-to book a long time ago, but I never made any animals.

I wonder how many towels are used each night just on towel animals?

I'll stick with napkin folding, thanks :/

For towel animals, there are websites and You Tube channels to consult... actually those exist on both activities.

Thanks for the link. I am sure that many will check it out. I think that I need to go out and buy more towels.

Is there a version available for the NOOK ?

Actually, I'm glad I bought it in case I ever get into the desire to do it. One of those things you know you want, won't be happy until you get it, and then never use it once you have it.

Oh my, I don't think that you got your money's worth from the book.

I just photograph them. We need the towels.
