I've dealt with lost luggage by the airlines en-route to a cruise but haven't heard of anyone losing luggage once its given to the porters at the ship terminal ... anybody?

I have not but my brother-in-law sail out of Miami on Princess just after the earthquake in Haiti. His luggage did not get to him until the nextt-to-last day of the cruise.

No, I have not. My first cruise though I didn't get my luggage until 11Pm. That was terrible. Same clothes all day and No toothbrush. I always carry a small carry on for a quick change and toothbrush now.
